In 2015, my grandmother’s Alzheimer’s had noticeably gotten worse. I saw the effects of this disease on her, my mom, family and her other two children. Alzheimer’s diagnoses have rapidly been increasing worldwide. It has affected and is currently affecting thousands of people and their families. I chose to focus on the adult children of parents with Alzheimer’s for my Senior Design Thesis.

The goal of my thesis is to aid and support those families dealing with this disease. Through a comforting and empathetic color pallet, as well as relatable type cards about the struggle, this community will feel that they are not alone. On these cards, are quotes I collected from people who have a family member affected by Alzheimer’s.
